Apparently, there is a competition of regional cuisine that is considered "B-class" (that is, not haute cuisine, but still wildly popular). Last year's winner was Yokote yakisoba (stir-fried noodles, pork, and fried egg with sweet pickles):



This was made into a corn snack flavor, as was 2008's winner, the "Atsugi Shirokoro"...

Everything Ramyon is what it was called in the ramyon shops in Itaewon--ramyon with shredded pork, sometimes shredded poultry and shredded seafood, cheese, scallions and an egg. The egg wasn't fried--they dumped the raw egg on top of the everything ramyon and let it cook right there. I never could hang with that, so I got "everything but the egg ramyon."
