Post your favorites if you like...

And if anyone was lucky to have seen him front Ac/Dc live, please share with those of us who didn't.

13. That's why that's one of my favorites of theirs.
He truly does look like he's 14 years old. It's also the only video of them that he's not wearing the usual schoolboy outfit that I can recall.

32. The Jack
A song guaranteed to scare every parent hearing it through a bedroom door. I play it and other ACDC songs to impress on my 12 year old that there is nothing she's gonna come up with that her father and I have not already thought of or done.

Bon did a great job of helping illustrate that.

RIP.

a rich and famous rock star.

I wonder how wealthy Bon was when he died.

50. Better? Hardly.
AC/DC regurgitated a single song both before and after Bon Scott. Their lyrics have always been uniformly banal "sex drugs, and rock and roll" pap. Compare that to Curtis' darkly poetic lyricism. No room for comparison.

Curtis and his bandmates also changed rock music. Much like the Velvet Underground, their influence can't be quantified in record sales or radio airplay. Joy Division laid the ground work for acts ranging from U2 to Bloc Party, from REM to Interpol. AC/DC was basically just another bluesy bar band that hit it big.

51. Bon Scott and his bandmates
were the soundtrack to more good times than Joy Division ever dreamed of. They are a group that does one thing, but they do it better than almost anyone. They rock.
