Why are the idiots always "in charge"?
I posted on a local forum trying to rally support to organize a meetup in my county. Two people replied and basically said not to because there already were active meetups. Of course, I couldn't find any info anywhere on one (which is why I originally posted). So I ask further since meetup is supposed to be tonight(dnc) and tomorrow(kerry). And now I being told there really isn't a meetup. Grrrr. I guess this is why people get turned off from getting involved. I even offered to help organize and no response. Anyone ever feel like their local political scene is a little too cliquish?
