Long time no see, and thank you for the heart!

I've been missing I know.. but school and life in NYC has been keeping me busy. I'm insanely happy. First semester at NYU was great... LOVE my professors and the film classes are amazing in addition to the politics class i took first semester and the history class i'm taking this semester. I have a great group of friends here, both in film and outside of film, and am happily in a relationship with a great guy.
Over winter break I went to Brazil with my scholars group which was an amazing experience. We volunteered at a school in the Canbar district of Salvador where we were remodeling the school and making repairs. It was a really rewarding experience.
I also took part in the Tisch 48 Hour Film Festival here at NYU with 3 of my classmates. Our film went over really well and won an award at the festival. :)

I've been keeping busy but keeping happy! How the hell is everyone? :hi:

1. I'm so glad you're enjoying college, Ava!

Myself, I'm doing okay. I think I kind of made a mistake as to my university/major, so I'm starting fresh back in my hometown next year. And congrats on the relationship, and on the award! You're already doing so many amazing things with your life that it kind of gives me an inferiority complex. ;)

And hey, go on AIM one of these days. I miss talking to you!
