I have four funeral plots to sell, no idea how to do it.
They belonged to my father but they are mine now.

They are in a great location.

Anybody here ever sell a funeral plot.

Maybe I could do it on line.

What sad things to sell.

1. advertise it in the local paper where the lots are located.
or try craigslist.

3. You might try Craigs list for the area where the plots are located.

7. Tomb with a view.
People are dying to get in. (sorry, I couldn't resist.) Could you contact the local funereal homes? Maybe they could help.

8. Sad in one way, but joyous in another
I personally believe in the healing power, for the living, of a beautiful final resting place. What a powerful gift you have to give to another family. Best of luck to you. I think the other suggestions in this thread make sense.

10. The location is pretty and can't get any bigger.
It is land locked.

I don't need the plots.

The place is looking full now.

My plots are near the front, close to the road.

13. If you have a friend in real estate...
try them at least for suggestions. Perhaps a commercial real estate broker.

Plots are real estate.

12. Put an ad in the paper.
My dad had a single plot. A married couple were supposed to be buried in two plots next to each other. The woman died in 1972, the man died later and he was buried at the local VA Cemetery. That's how I inherited it.

I went to the cemetery office, showed them death certificates from both my parents, told them I was the sole heir, and they gave me a new deed to the single plot left. Actually it's not a deed-they are very restrictive on what you can do with them.

Find out from the office what section it is in, and put an ad in the paper. I haven't been able to sell mine.

14. I would imagine the easiest way
would be to let the cemetery know that you wish to sell them. They could sell them for you to the next four customers that walk through the door.
