I totally can't believe it. :woohoo:

We've been dating for just shy of 11 months. While things have been going well, I didn't expect it at all. He took me out to a very nice place and we had wine and great food. He even drank a little, I guess he was nervous. He's normally a teetotaler.

But he's been really sweet to me in a way that I never thought I'd find. And really helpful and supportive to all that I wish to do and be in this crazy world. :loveya:

I was settling in for a nice long spinsterhood. :P Those plans are totally wrecked. :rofl:

13. No kidding, though. I _LOVED_ being single

and was pretty determined to stay that way. Then that Swiss guy came along, we adopted a baby cat, then we HAD to get married. :rofl:

CMW and I will have our 10-year anniversary in April, but altogether, meeting until now, we've been together longer than I even knew my first husband. It's kind of a milestone thingy.

I wish you every good thing, gf. This is a big, big, big step, or at least it was for me. :loveya:

16. So, that's how it starts!!

You adopt cats together and next thing you know....

I casually mentioned last spring that I'd like a cat... or two. So we got those.

We got two more last Labor Day.

Now, I've got a baby cat from the first two. :P

So I went from being completely single and care free to the mom of five cats and having a fiance.

"Careful whatcha wish for!"

I wished for a kitten and got The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger, the constant company of his brother/best buddy/littermate Barley who lives with my SIL across the street, his hateful hissin' sister Tabitha who lives with my MIL, a husband, A MIL, a SIL, two BILs, two delightful nieces/goddaughters, three new languages to learn. All good, and only ONE litterbox to clean, since CMW cleans his own bathroom. :rofl:
