I just put the ribs and baked potatoes into the oven. He'll start the artichokes when he's finished studying/answering the questions for his Doctorate of Philosophy from the Universal Life Church.

So, what's up with y'all, DU? :hi:

4. That is how it goes when it is my husband's night to cook!
What he does is behave like he is totally clueless and can't even find what he needs in the fridge.

I always end up doing the actual cooking.

6. My dear Heidi!
Your dinner (even if you did have to cook most of it, sorry!) sounds scrumptious!

It's mid-morning here, and I am just about to go out on a drug run!;)

Vitamins and a prescription, that is!

The rain has stopped and it's a beautiful day...

Enjoy your dinner, sweetie!

:loveya:

8. Dr. CMW!
my husband can never find anything in the fridge, or in the cupboard. However, once he finds stuff he is an excellent cook and baker.

Hey Heidi! :hi:

9. He's getting a Doctorate from the Universal Life Church?
I've got a Doctor Of Divinity degree from the United Faith Ministry I picked up for 20 bucks years ago from the back of the Weekly World News classified section; I still regret not paying the extra 10 bucks and becoming a Bishop:D

10. It was good for Hunter S. Thompson,
it'll be good for me. I already have my Doctor of Divinity degree.

The ULC has (10 bucks) Bishop certificates. ;)

Gotta love the USA! My other degrees took a bit more time and work, and there it's soooooo easy! :hide:

I think themonastery.org is blocked here; I never could connect.

And for the blog post, today I could breathe again (finished a huge project which deadline was shortened a month,) so I look forward to a new blog post of mine, too!

It looks really cool on the old business card.

I love being minister.

16. Being minister rocks!
I'm a double Rev. Once with the ULC and once with the Church Of The Latter-Day Dude.

Together, we could marry at least ten couples a day!

Snowed in here and have been for weeks. My dogs are on my nerves, and I'm beginning to wonder what they'd taste like in a stew.

18. I'll skip the ribs, but the baked potatoes and artichokes sound great!
My three daughters love artichokes. I wait until they are a decent price and of sufficient size and quality and then get them each one. Three fit perfectly in the steamer.

19. I bought a pork loin from the grocery store. It was cut down the middle and filled
with feta cheese and some tomato salsa thingy. Was pretty good.
