It's gorgeous :)

Actually what I'm technically listening to is the hum of my computer and other various machines. But in my head it's Beirut.

She woke briefly from her nap in the afternoon sun to give herself a bath. Beats her usual whining and complaining that I won't let her outside or into the garage. Sometimes, she keeps it up so long, I give into her.

27. Nothing now, but as of late
Ke$ha - Animal (yes, it's not high art, but it's a very good little pop album. Reminds me a little of early Madonna in its catchiness. I like her more than Lady Gaga because she's more bubblegum and less electronic. Plus, from what I've heard, Lady Gaga is no better a singer. Party girls aren't usually my favorite for attractiveness, but I do have a minor crush on Ke$ha.)

Sade - Soldier Of Love

Sarah Jarosz - Song Up In Her Head

Butch Walker - 2 new songs ("She Likes Hair Bands" and "Trash Day")

All highly recommended!

for some reason iTunes decided I need a Harry Chapin marathon.

At least it kicked off with Warren Zevon. But Chapin is depressing as hell, I don't even know why I have this stuff in my music folder.
