Because if there was a Clark and a Clark or a Clarke and a Clarke, things would get very confusing.

1. Both are Patriots with a capitol "p!" Neither man needs to wear
one of those pseudo-patriotic flag pins. Pure, unadulterated patriotism rings true in these guys.

4. LOL that doesn't mean people will actually spell them differently
Somehow I still get tricked by threads from people insinuating that Wes Clark is somehow deeply involved in the White House smear campaign, only to find it's just another poster who can't keep track of spelling.

Then I post a thread about it at 3 AM and instead of, "you're right, we should strive to look smarter," I get a bunch of, "how dare you try to tell me how to spell Clarke!?" responses.....
