Okay, maybe I shouldn't be whining....

There are lots of DUers who have things a lot harder than I do right now. But I need to vent.

Yesterday sucked for me.

Found out that my car - which was struck by an idiot teenager about a week ago - is being totalled by my insurance. No way am I going to find a car that nice for even twice what they'll be paying me for it.

Also had an HVAC guy come out to clean the vents and he told us we need to replace some of the equipment on the furnace to the tune of $900. I doubt this one. Mrs. Arbusto was at home by herself when this guy came out, so I think he just saw a woman and started also seeing dollar signs. Plus, with this expensive repair he recommenmded, he just so happened to have all the necessary equipment for it in his fan. Uncanny, huh?

Finally, Mrs. Arbusto contracted a bladder infection just in time for Valentine's Day.

Gah. I wanna hit something.

stop processed food, try Uva Ursi and Buchu, drink lots of fresh water (maybe some cranberry-w/o sugar) and rest. Valentines's Day will be awesome... all the rest is not important

4. Is the car still driveable?

If it is, can you ask your insurance company if they will also allow you to salvage it? It's been many a moon since I worked in insurance, so I can't remember if and how that works. Maybe someone else knows or your agent can advise you.
