1. Great character actor and performance artist.

I love his political satire, where he pretends to be a Republican candidate every four years to mock the the GOP. Brilliant, subtle stuff. Andy Kaufman would be amused.

Fred was able to take a movie and tv career and move up into the big leagues of money-making/bribery--politics. That's an unappreciated genius there, I tells ya'.
