1. Carol is really great...was great fun to watch all her shows.
Graduated from Hollywood High School in 1950 and is still quite active in our alumni association.

2. Very original talent and writing went into her show
She had a great cast and they knew were great at ad libbing or making up their own comments and actions when the skit went awry or when one of them started laughing in the middle of a skit! When those kind of shows went away we lost a lot of great entertainment.

3. I've read that the live audience reaction to the curtain dress
was the longest sustained laugh ever recorded. Right up there with Jack Benny's "Your money or your life" moment.

Watching Harvey Korman trying to hold it together is half the fun.

4. The reveal of the dress is an awesome moment...
...but Carol's line makes it the funniest ever: "I saw it in the window, and couldn't resist it." :rofl:

5. Yeah. That was a genius capper.
Probably why Korman had his back to the camera; he knew he'd lose it.
