23. I live in a large apartment building downtown,

right across the street from the city park. Beautiful view. During the day, moms with their baby strollers and elderly couples walking their equally elderly dogs. Flowers in the spring and summer. Huge shade trees, lawns and fountains. Birds chirping before sunrise. And also before sunrise, drunks on foot or on all fours weaving down the road from the dance club a few blocks away. Just as surely as morning light follows the dark of night, between 2 and 5 a.m..... wave after wave of assholes... roaring, puking, young men fighting, women screeching invectives at one another, you name it.

And that's where teh kitteh would come in very, very handy. Talking about developing homicidal tendencies in my old age. Grrrr.

24. Whew! I don't blame you at all.

I feel that way in the middle of the night when some jerk's
car alarm goes off. They are asleep, so they don't hear it
and it goes on and on and on. I would LOVE to have a rifle
and sniper window.
