OK. Guess the city by these cleverly edited titbits from the civic website
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 07:34 PM by Screaming Lord Byron
Blank encompasses 670 square kilometres, making it one of the largest cities, by area, in North America — larger in area than Chicago, Philadelphia and Detroit. Blank's Census Metropoliton Area (CMA) is 9,537 square kilometres, an area slightly larger than the Mediterranean country of Cyprus!

Blank is the capital of it's jurisdiction.

Located on the 53rd latitude, Blank is a haven for summer and winter activities, with 17 hours of daylight in mid-summer and the magical aurora borealis (Northern Lights) in peak activity in mid-winter.

Blank is also known as the Blank for its long history of successful professional and amateur sports teams.

YES! IT IS THE MOST ANAL GAME EVER!

For most visitors to blank all roads lead no farther than blank, the most westernized, cosmopolitan city, known for its wondrous charm and stunning beauty. Fewer than 10% of tourists explore the country outside of the capital.
If you really wish to discover the richness of this immensely cultured nation, however, venturing beyond blank will be very rewarding. The magnificent, undulating landscape consists of mountains and upland plains, forests and farmland. Cities and towns are a visual feast of architecture and sculpture. blank spa towns and sleepy blank wine villages alike have a historical integrity and welcoming atmosphere that gives you the feeling of being immersed in an open-air museum. The country also boasts over 100 castles -- from craggy fortresses to more refined, aristocratic chateaus -- that are open to the public.

Today, venturing off the beaten path no longer means leaving comfort and service behind. The number and quality of restaurants and hotels in large and small towns alike has soared over the past five years, attracting more visitors while remaining relaxed and uncrowded. And with the help of local tourist offices, the once-daunting task of arranging accommodation or gathering information about local sites is a lot easier.

If the shape of blanky resembles a blanky, then blanky is blanky . Affectionately known as the ‘blanky of the blanky’, the city is sited at the arrowhead of a peninsula, surrounded by an archipelago of 315 islands, perfectly placed between its two great trading cousins, blanky and blanky.

The city’s population just teeters over half a million and with its tallest building only 12 storeys high, blanky seems almost provincial. However, statistics reveal that the city is one of the fastest growing areas in the blanky. Within the last decade, 100,000 inhabitants have moved into blanky and by the year 2030 government statistics predict over 1.3 million people will be living within the region.

From a European perspective, blanky is relatively young (450 years), yet it is blanky’s sixth oldest town. The blanky's, who extended their empire into blanky in 1155, founded the city of ‘blanky’ (the name still used by the blanky's) in 1550, when King blanky needed a site for a strategic and competitively placed trading port. It languished as a coastal backwater until blanky invaded in 1809. The blanky blanky required a new power base and blanky was chosen because of its major trump card, the massive sea fortress – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site – of blanky.

23. here's one from me.....

Blank is blank's third city (after Blank1 and Blank2) and has always been an important seaport. It began on an island in the swampy estuary of the River blank, and gradually climbed up the steep banks on either side.

Today the river flows through blank in two main channels, so that you find yourself constantly crossing bridges.

Some of the main streets are built over channels where ships nuzzled their anchor-chains a century ago. Along the South Mall, you will see large gateways at street level, under steps leading to a higher main door. These were once boathouses, when merchants arrived at their warehouses by water.

As the hilly streets go up and down, so do the voices of the citizens. They have a characteristic sing-song cadence, beloved of national comedians, and natives of Blank are regarded as the most talkative of all the Blankies.
