Does anyone have a little dog that jumps into your arms while standing?
I bent down to pet my grandparents' chinese chin and he jumped about two feet into my arms. When he grows up I bet he will be able to jump into your arms while you are standing.

This dog is a riot. Smart, sleeps in his bed instead of insisting of sleeping with the grandparents. Runs to greet everyone who comes to the door. And he is a non-barker. (my grandparents' last dog would bark for five minutes everytime someone new walked into the room)

1. I have a labrador that does that
He's really springy. He can jump onto a table from standing position. He's only 18 mos but he still thinks he the size of a shoebox.

2. I have a small poodle/terrorist mix that does that
all I have to do is bend down to pick her up & she jumps into my arms. She's done it since she was a puppy.

Just this week skosh grew strong enough to jump up in my grandparents' laps. They got him at christmas when he was 8 weeks old.

5. I have a cat who does that.
If I stand still for too long (especially when he feels like I'm ignoring him), he launches himself at my torso so I have to catch him. Then he snuggles up against my chest and purrs. He loves to be carried around, and this is his way of forcing me to do it.

6. I could handle that with my female, she is light
but my male is HEAVY and that would probably knock me over!

8. It's my heaviest cat who does this.
A nice, hefty 15 lbs.

7. I have two Great Pyrenees.
They do love to greet me, but if they jumped into my arms they'd flatten me permanently.
