We lost another cat today, one of the old ones that came the house.
I got a good deal on the house from the woman I bought it from because of the 3 cats.

There is only one left now, the three were a litter.

Their mother was feral and left the kittens at the house.

She didn't want to sell unless the cats were looked after, I promised I would.

The last one is really missing her sister now.

She knows where her sister is buried, she is laying there.

Might not be long for her either.

We will be getting new kittens in the spring.

1. I'm sorry.
:(

I hope all three of them had long happy lives. But it is very sad that only one is left. She must be lonely now.

3. She is.
The three cats were very tight.

She is laying by the grave, she knows.

I did try to hold her but she didn't want me to.

She will need time.

4. I will miss her,
She was the most friendly of the three.

They were outdoor cats, mostly stuck to themselves.

6. I am sorry AND glad.
Sorry that your kitty is missing her sister. Glad that you took the cats with the house and gave them a good life.
I have 6 cats inside and one cat, the feral mother of them all, outside. She'll let me pet her when I feed her. I will try to get her inside on of these days, but am not at all sure it would do anything but make her miserable. Anyway, I keep her fed and warmly sheltered and the thought that maybe some day some one would come along and adopt her along with the house makes me feel a little better...

7. I think it's incredibly kind to do what you've already done
most folks wouldn't. And I think cats know when kindnesses are done for them, someway, somehow, they know. So, she probably knows that although her sister is gone, you made her life gentler than it might have been. I don't know, maybe that can be a comfort.

Life can be so harsh for the ferals. Any little bit that can ease it, helps.
