Suggestion for a Lefty Entrepreneur: Soft-Cover First Editions
You know how wingers think they own the hard cover list? I wonder how well left wing books would do if they were published softcover from the start. For example, I probably won't be buying Kevin Phillips', Ron Suskind's, or Richard Clarke's books until they come out in softcover. I'll bet a lot of lefties decide to wait until the paperback editions of the books they want to read come out. Why make them wait? Why not start with paperback editions, and make them nice and affordable, so you make up in volume what you lose in price on hardcovers.

Just a thought. (Pass it on.)
