The very best part of "It's Complicated" (NO spoilers here)
was that they let Meryl Streep be natural. No artifice, nothing to make her face "perfect," her hair wasn't coiffed and it often looked a little disheveled, just like any woman's hair.

And she looked great.

It was a really good movie. I highly recommend it.

Oh - Alec Baldwin was good too, and so was the guy who played his daughter's fiancé. And so was Steve Martin.

1. loved her house and a garden to die for.
Martin character was designing 'the kitchen of her dreams'. The kitchen she had already was pretty darn awesome, IMO. Good movie - loved the future son in law, in particular.

4. Haven't seen it.
But I'm glad to see Steve Martin finally appearing in a proper movie.

5. But it doesn't address the oppressed masses who do not live in luxury!
:sarcasm:

Sorry... callback to a thread reviling the film because it only dealt with the superficial romantic concerns of the wealthy, instead of being a "Grapes of Wrath" for the new millennium or something.

6. And was it touted as a "Grapes of Wrath" for the new millennium?
No? Well, then, they should stop whining.

:eyes:

If one doesn't want to see a movie whose characters are well-off, one can just walk out of the theater.
