When LeftyFingerPop was asked to play Santa Claus for the DeSoto, KS Women's Temperance Society and Bible Study Group, he asked his pals Taterguy, Rug and Dr. Strange to come along. Of course I was there to take plenty of pictures!

Here's Lefty getting ready for his big debut as Santa. A small crisis arose when it appeared he'd left his glasses...and pants...at home


While we were on the hunt for Lefty's pants, the crowd was treated to the Eudora Madrigal's rendition of The Nutcracker set to Polka music


LeftyFingerPop FINALLY finds his glasses and pants, and is introduced as Santa. Here he is, slipping some tongue to the Rev. Cravenhead's wife...


Irma Bugtussle is the envy of the group (especially Rug) when Santa brings her an autographed photo of Ferlin Husky!


Oops! Looks like somebody broke out the communion wine! At least Rug, Taterguy and Dr. Strange came out of hiding for this picture:
