From 6AM-6PM tomorrow in Maryland. Take care everyone. Stay home, stay safe, and stay on DU.

2. I-77 and I-81
in SW Va are parking lots. 400 National Guardsmen called up. Thousands of motorists stranded.

Daughter of DUer Guilded Lilly stranded on I-77 near Wytheville, Va. Finally able to get to shelter in a local high school for the night.

I talked to my sister about 7:00 last night. She lives near Roanoke, Va. They had about an 8in accumulation with about 18 total predicted.

Plows are stuck and/or wrecked in Roanoke. It's gonna be a long, cold, hard night for lots of folks. Please send good vibes to everyone out in this mess tonight.

3. I thought I was keeping up to date on the weather
but I didn't know about the blizzard warnings. Wonder if it'll be like a Wyoming blizzard (that's home). Those blizzards - almost like a snow tornado.:)
