life should be like a video game
3 lives, a reward at 10,000 points, a shiny new quarter (they still cost only a quarter at the arcades, right?), and a do-over...

1. Life is like a videogame...
hard as hell, questionable rewards for your efforts and ultimately a waste of time.

3. I remember as a kid beating the game Karnov for the NES...
and that game is hard as hell...only to get a screen saying 'Congratulations!'
Ugh.
Whereas Mega Man 2 actually had an ENDING, and a pretty good one for its time.
I still play the shit out of mega man 2.
Karnov?
Screw that.
