It has been cold to very cool weather in Houston since Nov. 30, almost no sun.
We had the snow for a few hours that did stick on the ground.

We might have sun on Friday.

We are having winter weather here.

The few trees that have leaves that change color have beautiful leaves.

I am using my woodburning stove everyday.

We don't have winter weather like this usually.

Just a short cold or cool front that last a two days and warm again.

I have been feeding the birds extra, had to buy a new sack of birdseed yesterday.

It feels like the holidays to me.

1. This is what happens when you elect a gay mayor

I remember many past Houston christmas mornings in t-shirts and shorts.

2. This has been a strange December.
I like the weather myself.

Been wearing all my winter clothes, not that I have that many.

Just think all it took to get a little cold weather and snow was to elect a gay mayor.

At least I don't have to cut grass, everything is dead looking from the cold weather.

My birds are sure hungry.

We are still thrilled about electing Annise Parker.

We have another gay woman on the city council, this will be her second term.

I guess hell is freezing over.

The greater New Orleans area set an all-time monthly precipitation record this December. On the 15th...

5. Um, what?
Glad your weather is improving. There was some bright light in the sky here too, today, but I ran inside quick-like. It burned!
