If someone has you on ignore are they blocked if you do a search on them?

If someone has you on ignore are they blocked if you do a search on them?
If you do a search on them as the author and nothing comes up does that mean that, (considering they have authored threads) they have you on ignore?

1. You can still do a search, and you will find them...
Having someone on ignore does not interfere with finding them at all...

The only way I know to find out if someone has me on ignore is to see if I can PM that person. If I can't, if I'm blocked from using the PM, then I figure that person has me on ignore.

3. You gotta watch the search function
when going by user names. It has to be exact, even to case. It will not do an approximate search.
