Why is my computer beeping???

Why is my computer beeping???

Every 10-15 seconds it beeps. I have it on AC power; it's not overheating or anything; what's up? I consider myself fairly computer literate, but this is weird. Any ideas?

EDIT: I didn't realize it had been unplugged; that was just my low battery alarm.

Did you check your running processes for anything unusual?

What sort of beep? Is it long or short? Same tone or does it change?

Is it coming from the speakers or the within the PC? (I'm hoping you have external speakers...)
