I e-mailed a woman on a dating site last night

She was good looking and college educated so I guess she's smart, too. Then I got to thinking about it. The more I thought about her picture the more familiar she seemed to me. I went back to the site and looked at her again. Yes, yes. I know her from somewhere or so it seems. I hope I'm not hitting on one of my relatives, like a second cousin or something.

I've noticed that since I hit 40 or so, a ton of people I probably don't know seem slightly familiar to me.

8. I once almost accidentally dated a cousin of some sort.

We were both in relationships, but we said at one point that if we were single we totally would have gone out with one another.

One day, we were discussing famous people we've had in our families in past generations, and we discovered that we both have had a few of the same relatives. It's a good thing neither of us was single at the time!
