Another example of a missed opportunity.

1. On the upside his part in Inglorious Basterds was awesome.

2. Haven't yet seen that, though I want to.
Maybe we could have arranged for him to do that bit on furlough or something. Maybe work-release with one of those ankle bracelets.

3. Hate to say it but Love Guru was 100x better than Cat in the Hat
that doesn't mean it was good...

6. Last night TBS aired Cat in the Hat after How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Blasphemy!
Before The Cat in the Hat came out, I saw production stills online somewhere, and I knew at a glance that it was going to be terrible. It's unthinkable that professional film-based moneymakers couldn't equally look at that shit-heap and preemptively identify it as the disaster that it was (and continues to be).

8. Even my daughters HATED it and they were easy to please at that time

Now, as tweens, they save their derision for SPARKLY vampires and the people who love them.

At least there were a couple of laughs in Love Guru. I happened to catch it (like a cold???) on basic cable recently.

4. I like this idea...we need some type of Hollywood Gulag
to prevent bad actors from making awful movies -- yeah, I'm looking at YOU, Pauly Shore!
