2. At least they mix up the bumber stickers
Cafe Press has pages and pages of offensive stickers. Not one in support of Obama. What a horrible place. I am designing my own t-shirts and was considering using them, but not now.

6. Some of the 'shopkeepers' at cafepress
know how to set their 'tags' so that every time anyone goes looking for Obama (pro or con) the search will go to their pages. Last year there were thousands of pro-Obama items, and the freepers managed to skank the listings even then. They were quite nasty prior to the convention, then got more so in the runup to the election. There were also thousands of very nasty anti-Bush items offered, it's what happens with such sites.

A shame, really, because there was some (and still is) some very good artwork offered by legitimate folks. And,yes, I've already gotten sniped at because I dare to have a store on that site. Ironic, because I make just about enough from it to pay my 'rent' there; mostly, it's a way to get our name out there. When you live on Social Security it's not possible to go out and buy massive presses and silk screening systems; pod arrangements like Cafepress give people like me a small opportunity that we would not have otherwise.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of small 'shopkeepers' like me who have found themselves splattered by the collateral demonization of cafepress. In another irony, it was a DUer who first directed me to the site. Then another option was offered by another DUer, suggesting Zazzle. That was during the time when the teabaggers were taking guns to Obama events, and violent shirts and stickers predominated at Zazzle and I decided to stay put at cafepress.

Maybe when the banks can free up some loans for small potatoes like me I won't need to rely on sites like cafepress for anything. Until then, however, I'm thankful for the customers who know to dig through the pages of garbage in order to find us. But I'm getting right tired of those DUers who've never supported my business taking it upon themselves to tell me how not to run it.

Just needed to get that said. Sorry about dumping in your thread.

3. Aren't both Cafe Press and Zazzle
both outlets for people to sell their own designs through? I wouldn't buy anything from any place that supported hard right ideology, no matter the source.
