I'm making it all from SCRATCH, since I'm currently
about 11 hours away from the nearest "Indian" grocery store.

4. Leftover leg of lamb...
Lamb Pozucon...potato, zuccini, onion!

I saute the vegetables in butter and then add the chopped lamb in last. Some freshly ground black pepper and some dill weed...

It's delicious!

Not till much later, though...

We just had lunch!

:hi:

5. That's pretty awesome as far as "leftovers" go....
Be a dear, and remind me to be JEALOUS of you sometime, OK?

8. No need for you to be jealous, sweetie!
It's a truly easy dinner! If you like lamb, that is...

I always bake more potatoes than I know we'll eat when I make the original leg of lamb...

So I'll have one ready for this recipe!

BTW, I left the skins on the potatoes. There is no other way to make mashed potatoes.

Edited on Sun Nov-08-09 08:16 PM by Shell Beau
but it was picked fresh from the garden not too long ago. That counts, right?) and grilled broccoli that I put in foil with butter, salt, pepper, and a little bit of shredded cheese! Mmm mmmm good! Plus some yeast rolls. When my husband cooks, it is all done on the grill. Makes it soooooo easy for me!

And I meant to reply to the OP not to myself. D'oh.

28. I hope it counts...
I made succotash last week with some corn
that went straight from the garden to the freezer...
it was frozen for a week or two,
but it sure tasted "fresh" to me when I steamed it
with those baby lima beans.

Grilled broccoli? fresh or frozen, that sounds awesome!

13. Meatball subs.
We have some ready-made meatballs in the freezer, so this will be really fast and easy.

That fish curry sounds good. I used to make it myself sometimes. I should do it again, but I'll be tempted to make paratha with it, and that takes some time.

22. A pot of 15 bean soup
sans the "ham flavoring" packet that comes in the bag, homemade cole slaw, and home made cornbread with kernels of yellow corn I froze over the summer.

Also baked two loaves of pumpkin gingerbread with cranberries, have a loaf of wheat bread in the oven, and will be baking molasses cookies after that.
