What the f**k kind of job ad is this? I got this “match” from Texas unemployment. Sounds like it was written by a 5 year old.

You have to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be able to defend your positions.
You can work on a multi-disciplined team, manage client expectations, and meet your deadlines.
You can tell a good story.
You know a little something about what's under the hood, and understand the capabilities and limits of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and other presentation layer technologies.

That describes exactly what I do... And honestly... I think it's a smartly written job description.... At least written by someone who understands what to look for re: user experience and interactive product design.

Wanna pass the lead to me? I'm moving to TX from NYC this month, and am looking for something EXACTLY like this.

5. I've been in Texas a long time

the good news is it ain't all red by a long shot - the bad news is it is red enough. Personally, I enjoy tormenting Texas repukes. :D

3. FYI... Here's a good summary of user-centered design...

UXD is a bunch of modern methodologies for designing products and interfaces that focus on user goals... I'm moving to TX and been searching for such jobs, but don't find many companies employing such practices.
