Well, here comes the weekend and I am informed that one more weekend will be

Reassessment comes on Monday.

Slowly, surely I am turning a corner. In current economic terms now in use in Washington it would be correct to say the decent toward negative results is starting to decrease at a decreasing manner.

I'm getting better but not so fast as I let myself believe but still not as bad as I had been anticipating.

Oh what the hell, I could never speak like a bureaucrat.

My downward spiral is slowing. I am not out of danger by any means and there is no real indication that I will ever be able to recapture function that is lost and so lost forever.

But I am feeling better about myself and the over all prognosis I am facing.

The key I am learning from all of this is to look at the overall condition of my health and place my pulmenary function within the whole.

And learn to take it all as I have with my subsance abuse; one day at a time.
