I think I broke my toe today.
I have no idea how or when- my feet are chewed up with arthritis, and many of the bones have fused over time. I normally have little feeling in my toes and feet, but when I tried to stand up just now I discovered my foot has the pain and swelling anyone who's had a broken bone will know about.

I'll know for certain when I try to get out of bed in the morning.

1. That's a bummer.
I broke my big toe a few months ago, so I remember the pain.

I hope it heals quickly.

2. I would go ahead and ice it, take some aspirin for the swelling, then buddy tape it tonight
Can't hurt, and if you do have a broken toe it will do wonders for what it's like in the morning.

3. All my first aid supplies are packed in boxes
We're in the final stages of moving, which means nobody knows where anything is.

Besides, right now I have two vicious tiger beasties on top of me, holding me down....

5. Do you have an emergency can of tuna or sardines?
Open the can, toss it across the room. That usually will clear your lap and chest of various tiger beasties, and you can resume life.

4. I broke my pinkie to about a month ago.
I feel your pain. ;-) Thank goodness it's still warm enough here that I can wear sandals, as putting on shoes is a killer. How do I love my Birkenstocks? Let me count the ways, and here's one more. No pain while walking when I wear them. (They helped me survive plantar fasciitis, too.)
