4. No, it didn't. But then again, I never hated Creed.
I only had a chance to listen to half of it--I'll catch the rest later--and it wasn't bad. The music was harder than I remember them being, some good guiter.

14. Gasp! Next thing you'll be saying you like to eat at Olive Garden!
:)

All kidding aside, I don't actually hate Creed. I just find them boring and audiably indistinguishable from Pearl Jam sans the well-written lyrics. But I don't cringe when I hear Creed on the radio. Same goes for the other butt of our rock band jokes, Nickleback. Their biggest crime is the boredom of their songs.

I mean, Scott Stapp's an asshole, but seriously, what rock star isn't one? If I'm going to judge a band solely on the assholishness of its lead singer, that means I would have to disavow my Smashing Pumpkins.

17. Nah. We have real Italian restaurants around here.
Don't even think we have any Olive Gardens in the area.

You're right about the Pumpkins. I saw them last year and Billy Corgan was being such a dick that it negated all the good music that came before it.

Sometime last night I reckon.

3. Are you a freeper?
Actually, I like Creed, too, as long as Scott Stap(?) isn't their front man. Their incarnation with a different lead singer as Alter Bridge was much better.

6. Well, Scott Stapp is their front man again.

The Alter Bridge singer is also with them, doing background vocals and he sounded pretty good.

A freeper? Them's fighting words! :D

9. I didn't know that about the Alter Bridge singer
I'm glad they are keeping him around. They might need him. :)

8. Were you one of the 5-star "OMFG, Creed is BACK" reviewers on Amazon.com?
Those reviews are great, real stalker stuff about how some of these poor saps think they got inside of Scott Stapp's head and really understood his motivation for some of the songs.

I'm guessing half the people who wrote those reviews routinely receive orders to kill from their dogs.

15. Nope. Never even read them.
I was never a Creed fan, not all that familiar with them, but I did like songs I'd heard and yes, I even liked Scott Stapp's voice. I couldn't--and still can't--understand why people hated them so much. Same with Nickelback. I like Nickelback's music and I like the singer's voice. My main gripe with them is that all their songs sound somewhat the same.

If that's what those reviewers are like, they'll love the new song about how he's changed--sounds so autobiographical. :D

16. Actualy, only got to listen to hallf of it.
It had gotten to about 3:30 in the morning and we decided to crash instead of finishing the album. Will catch the rest next time I see my boyfriend. (He's the one who bought it.)
