Skateboarding is awesome.
I'm cooped up in a dorm today until tonight, so I decided to break out my old freestyle (small) skateboard and fuck around. This is on the heels of a pretty fun session earlier.

Within about five minutes I landed a double kickflip. I feel fucking great about it. :-)

2. Hells yeah.
I saw that film after I skated a pool for the first time and was absolutely blown away. It was incredible, the shit those kids were pulling off without ergonomically designed boards.

3. Explain to this old fart why anyone wants to skateboard on railings
I always thought the point of wheeled travel was to go fast AROUND obstacles, not go fast INTO obstacles.

4. Do you ski at all?
Think of it like skiing down a big hill -- it's an obstacle to conquer.

You know when you're watching the Winter Olympics and some guys go blazing down a hill? And you think "Wow, that was amazing"? Rails are kind of like that, I guess.

7. Breaking bones
and scraping knees is all skateboarding ever did for me. My friend Dan skateboards all over the place though. I hate to admit I'm more than a little jealous.

8. I've never broken any bones.
Tons of scrapes and scars, though. I show them off to girls. :-)
