...babies making babies. Is there any possibility that we could actually have sex education in this country? I mean, I'm tired of living in the wild west.

1. I had my son when I was fifteen and I knew about birth control

The problem was getting access to it.

And, most girls that age aren't having sex for the fun of it. Believe me. Usually, they do it for attention, to keep a boyfriend, to feel loved.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for comprehensive sex ed. Definitely. But, we need to give young women a sense of purpose and hope for their future, and we need to make birth control easily accessible.

My son is 22 years old now. And, he is a wonderful, hardworking young man. I would never recommend teen parenthood to ANYONE, but I have endless compassion and hope for teen moms.

2. And your third paragraph is exactly what I'm talking about...
...and REAL sex education, would go a long way to sponsor that.

3. That's my son's age.
He hasn't even kissed a girl yet.

It's just unbelievable. Birth control education and availability needs to be de-stigmatized and widespread.
