Yep, that was the joke after mom had the twins (numbers 9 and 10). The other family joke (based on reality) was that my parents would have a fight, drop us off at grandma's and nine months later we'd have another brother.

I'll see if I can find the picture I took of my nine siblings. It's an old one but it was the last time all ten of us kids and our parents were all under the same roof. iirc, it was my grandma's 98th birthday, which means the photo would have been taken in 1993.
