Seyfried Confirms Mamma Mia Sequel in Works
Source:BBC Radio 1
October 27, 2009

In interviews with the BBC and The Daily Record at the London Film Festival premiere of Atom Egoyan's Chloe, actress Amanda Seyfried was asked a lot of questions about her previous work, but the one question that led the pack is whether there might be a sequel to the global blockbuster hit musical Mamma Mia!. There has been some rumbling of a sequel happening after the original movie grossed $609 million worldwide, and it would seem likely that the sequel would revolve around Seyfried's Sophie and her new husband Sky, played by Seyfried's real-life boyfriend Dominic Cooper.

Seyfried told the BBC, "I know it's still going to be Abba music, because what else would it be? Come on, I wouldn't do Mamma Mia 2 without Benny and Bjorn."

I would go see it if they replaced the band.

3. I really hate Rush, but I have found a Canadian musician I really like!
Frank Marino!!!!!!

I heard his band decades ago, had no idea he was Canadian. Congratulations, O Canada!

You have produced another musician I actually like alot, along with Ian and Sylvia, Hank Snow, and Neil Young.

9. They still do - they are still touring, but using the name
Frank Marino. They have several web sites.

I heard them over 30 years ago, but just heard Frank again yesterday.

10. It was probably thirty years ago when I first heard them, also.
I used to be in the Columbia House record club, and every time you got a friend to join, you got to choose 3 free records. Well, I was able to convince a lot of my friends to join and when I chose my free records, I tried to choose bands that I didn't know or didn't know much about. I had read a lot about Frank Marino in my "Circus" magazine, so decided to give Mahogany Rush a try. I was blown away!

One of my friends on FB made the comment to me a couple of months ago, "You're the guy that got us all into Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush!".

I was honored.
