My band is being considered for the new Twilight soundtrack

They are releasing a follow up to the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack and I found out from my record label today that my band is being considered for inclusion on the album. I know how this stuff works so I am not at all expecting it to happen but I thought I would pass it along. Wish us luck.

6. that's fantastic--never seen Twilight nor will I probably see the new one,

but I would love to hear your band. Anything on youtube etc? And you're already signed too...I hope your label is treating you well. I don't know how things are today, but about 20 years ago, my roommate's band was signed by Capitol and they got jerked around so bad that they ultimately had to sue to get out of the contract...Anyway, best wishes on getting onto that soundtrack.

8. We are on an indie label

that has treated us very well. Been signed with them since 1997. I have had friends on major labels who have had really successful careers (Ben Folds Five) and some that have been jerked around and ended up in debt. I have no delusions that this thing with the Twilight S/T will even happen but I was surprised today to hear they were considering us. I thought I would share it with my DU pals.

again--best wishes for the soundtrack and the whole career. I myself never made it past the bar and party band phase, but have had my fun, somehow played with some damn good musicians along the way even if it has always been mostly cover bands, but always regretted not having had more of an opportunity to do originals...Good for you for taking it a step or two or three beyond that. I plan on checking out some more of your stuff too.
