I've always liked the 'slaw & mashed potatoes w/gravy better than the chicken.

15. Funny you use that expression....

....I remember one time my dad and I were driving down to Florida and we got caught in a horrendous snow storm in North Carolina. We pulled off at the first exit we could to rent a room for the night. There were all sorts of restaraunts around, but they were all closed due to the weather. The only place open was a Bojangles Chicken.

It wasn't that bad. Reminded me a lot of Popeyes.

24. There ARE bad Popeye's, believe it or not.
Edited on Mon Oct-26-09 09:59 PM by Redstone
We have one at a "travel plaza" a couple of towns down I-95, and it's horrible.

Never thought I'd find a bad Popeye's, but there are some out there.

13. A roasted chicken from the grocery store
A much better and healthier deal. They often have lots of good deli sides to go along with it. Our local Publix has an old-fashioned, skin-on potato salad that is downright addictive. I don't buy it because I'd eat the whole tub in a sitting.

16. I just went yesterday
I made the mistake of offering that as a choice to AALette. She loves their original recipe!

I like the extra crispy, but has anyone noticed that it doesn't have the same 'kick' it used to?

23. ANYTHING that's not from the KFC in our town. They're truly dreadful.
My older son and I have been trying to do a hostile takeover of the franchise, and add Taco Bell to it, but we haven't suceeded yet.
