It's autumn, and time for the annual Redstone Leaf Blower complaint:
Mrs R is out there with the noisy, smelly fucker (let me smoke ONE Parliament in the house, and she goes ballistic, but we can let that 30:1 gas/oil mixture drift through the windows)...

Argh.

2. Get some synthetic two-stroke oil for that bad boy.
A little more expensive, but it will smoke less and do a better job at bearing lubrication.

And it would smell just like the old Yamaha two-stroke GP roadracer I used to campaign.

Kinda like this one:

6. I used to live in a neighborhood where all the yards were the same size...
and it always amused me that I could rake the leaves out of my yard in about a quarter of the time it took the guy next door to clear his leaves with his gasoline-burning bastard of a blower.

7. No training needed...simple refusal to do it myself works fine. I'd let the damn leaves
turn themselves into compost over the winter, were it up to me.
