Is cognitive behavioral therapy or dialectical behavioral therapy covered by private insurance?

I know my dad has supplemental insurance, and it covers some psychological stuff, but I'm not sure if CBT or DBT would be covered.

I'd prefer to find a DBT therapist, just because I feel like that's a better fit for me.

And I definitely want a psychologist who is trained in this sort of stuff, because I did some CBT with a social worker once, and it sucked.

And usually, if the practitioner is certified, any kind of treatment they offer is cool.
