1. Ahhh, I had one like that a few years back.

She stayed in my garden all summer. We would catch flies and throw them in her web. She would quickly wrap them up for snacks later on when we weren't watching. Alas, I came home from work one day to see her web decimated and she was gone. :(

2. She probably ate her web and moved on.

I'm actually kinda surprised to see her this late in the year but it was kinda warm the last few days. I don't know a lot about their life span, but a good meal before it gets cold couldn't hurt.
