14. I worked 60 hours one "day" - with probably only 6 breaks of no more than 1 hour -

The last 4 hours were standing by to make sure everything operated correctly before I could leave the workspace. I was underway on a ship, and was the only person qualified to fix that particular suite of equipment after a fire in the space...the first 20 hours were cake. The second 20 were on adrenaline. The third... hmmm. I don't really remember very clearly. The people who remember for me told me I was apparently on autopilot, very calm, smiling, and saying "okay, now we need to do this..." all the time. I also had to be helped up, lead around, handed items sometimes...

I certainly don't remember making it to my rack. Woke up 10 hours later with the same workclothes on that I left the workspace space in. And I was pretty woozy for another two days.

Glad you're done. I occasionally go over 12 hrs., but not 15.

17. longest non-stop day I worked was election day 2006

I went out at 2am to plaster our district in lawn signs. Including setting up the victory party put the total work hours at around 20 or so. Didn't leave the party till after midnight, so it was a 23 hour day.

Election day 2008, I didn't start working till 6am and worked till around 9pm when I went to the Obama victory party in annapolis. That ended up being a good 22 hour day as well. Of course I didn't leave the campaign HQ until well after 1am the night before. Fun!
