My little bunny will be a year old on Wednesday.

Big news, he actually lifted his leg to pee yesterday. I was so proud. My little boy is a man now despite the fact that his daddy flatly refused to go out in the yard with him and teach him the proper way for a big boy to pee. Something about the neighbors already thinking we're nuts and it ending up on youtube.

Here he is "before" all little, cute and fuzzy with incredible destructive potential and "after" big, grown up, and actually now that I think about it still destructive.

The number is from his first race. No I didn't pen it on him, but he did run a 5 mile race with me this weekend.

1. Adorable photos...
...as a puppu, in his eyes, it looks like he's plotting something!

3. he is definitely plotting something
He was also pretty muddy from the race and I think he knew that at any moment he was going to end up in the tub.

7. he's completley spoiled
I like how little bitty puppies look at you all sweet and innocent like "hey you know those really expensive hiking boots you just love? Well you need to replace the right one. The left one is ok though."

8. Are you sure that's a bunny?
I think it's a dog. Cute as heck but still a dog.

9. Those working breeds ...
;)
We have a Border Collie-Heeler girl. We adopted her when she was two, and I found that if I threw a ball in the back yard until she was panting each morning she was better behaved for the rest of the day.
Now she's 9, and often brings a tennis ball to our bed to try to get a game going as soon as she wakes up.
If I don't give her an opportunity to run she's more likely to have a "naughty" part of the day when she barks at every dog walking by, wants to go out and come in a lot, or has other problems with restless energy.
