I DID IT!

I maintained my calm while talking to the representative of Quicken.

We use Quickbooks for our business. We recently got a credit card merchant account that we are going to use for our website and when we work the flea markets.

We ordered a card reader to use at the shows so we could just swipe the card for the transaction and be done with it.

Problem was the card reader never came. I ordered it on the 7th. Today I called the Office of the President and talked to Sandy. She looked up my order and told me that I wasn't insane. Everything I said was correct. I did pay for 2nd day air (which I had argued with Customer Service about...) and Marian (the lady I talked with on Tuesday) did put the note in to expedite the delivery from 2nd day to next day and it still didn't come.

So Sandy placed a duplicate order and has it set for next day. It probably won't go out until Monday and it doesn't do us any good for the show this month but at the end she told me that we wouldn't be charged for it.

So we're going to get our $104 card reader for free.

I'm happy. Or at least I will be when I get it.
