1. Neither one is really chocolate.
How about adding some real choices to that poll? :(

10. It's my fault. There is far more to chocolate
that American commercialized candy that only has 10% chocolate in it anyway. :P

9. I used to have Belgian chocolate shipped to me by the case.
Vegan, smooth as sin, and it came in a dozen flavors.

The four flavors I always ordered were:

Dark chocolate with orange
Dark chocolate with mint
Dark chocolate with cocoa nibs
Dark chocolate with Earl Grey Tea

I get serious cravings for chocolate, coffee or tea when I am in pain, but it has to be rich and dark.

I know from experience. It's the brown crack!

:sarcasm:

Edit: My dealer's HQ is in Hershey, PA. Notify the
CEA (Chocolate Enforcement Administration) right
fucking now!

15. These are just places that process chocolate
The beans come from places like the Ivory Coast, Venezuela, Ghana, Ecuador, etc, etc.

The beans from the Chuao peninsula in Venezuela are particularly prized, and the Italian
manufacturer, Amedei, has a lock on a lot of that place. The French maker, Bonnat, gets
some, too. I have to say, I prefer Bonnat, even if Amedei costs about triple. Bonnat's
bars of dark chocolate are made with beans from places around the world, and you can
buy them according to location. Production is necessarily sporadic, depending on the
harvests and local political condition (Ivory Coast had a near civil war for a while).

In Belgium, most of the beans come from Africa's Ivory Coast, and the Café-Tasse firm does
wonders with it, making rich dark chocolate with hints of mint, orange, cinnamon, and a
unique white chocolate with finely ground coffee running through it.

It helps that I'm in both France and Belgium once a week for work...........
