it smells like Chloraseptic throat spray in my house
the water line leading TO the toilet in the hallway busted this morning and sent water spewing out for nearly an hour before my SO turned it off. Servpro came out to clean it up. They sprayed some anti-microbial (the stuff that smells like the sore throat spray) and turned on 15 of those blower fans in the hall, office, guest room and living room. They say it could take up to 3 or 4 days to dry everything up. I'm going to go insane from the noise from the blessed fans.

this blows

1. I had 15 of those and three de-humidifiers
running for a week after my house sprung a leak. The bill for that service was $4200. Thankfully my insurance paid it.

3. Yes, the constant drone of the fans

drove us nuts. It was February and the dehumidifiers put out enough heat to keep the house warm without running the furnace. They dehumidify just like an air conditioner and they put off a lot of hot air. My electric bill was $40 higher that month from running all that stuff.

You have my sympathy.
