Can you help me find comedy on line
Hello DU.
I love comedy and would like some help finding sit-coms on line.
I am aware of www.hulu.com and adultswims web site.
I found all the FRISKY DINGO series on line.
I have access to a netflix account..

I don't have cable tv, so I try to catch what I can online.

I used to use www.watchtvsitcoms.com , but that site died..

If anyone can help me to laugh I would appreciate it.

Peace and low stress!

1. How about RiffTrax?
It was started by cast members of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and features TONS of work in that vein. Site members also contribute, including me. My sigline is a link to that.

Our humor tends to go a little more political than most of the stuff there.

4. If you like sitcoms check out the BBC series Peep Show
I know at least the first season is available on Hulu.

It is absolutely the best sitcom of this decade.

6. If you want comedy, read some of those "They're bombing the Moon" threads in GD
The real killer is that only half of the participants are trying to be funny.

8. go to YouTube
and search for "Yacht Rock" and watch them in order...

Or good old Homestarrunner.com is always fun, especially the "Strongbad e-mails" section. Might take you a little time to acquire a taste for it, but they're fun once you get in the groove.

Also southparkstudios.com has almost every episode of South Park for free streaming.

12. You're welcome...
if you want topical stuff, theonion.com is loaded with great stuff, including video... also I think The Daily Show and Colbert Report have tons of video for free, too.

14. Old Radio Shows
Good comedy writing holds up and remains funny for all time. One of the best ever was The Jack Benny Show. The recurring themes of being cheap, being 39 etc. allowed the audience to feel part of the "inside" jokes. Great cast of supporting players: Eddie Anderson as Rochester, Phil Harris, Dennis Day, Mel Blanc were given the best lines at Jack's expense. All of his shows plus many, many others (Fibber McGee and Molly, Fred Allen,) on this website:

I hope you find it as enjoyable as I do.
