we're getting our first snow of the season

nothing is sticking yet, but it's really damp and chilly.

3. it's been a long time since we've gotten snow this early

it was a very mild summer and we didn't get much of a fall this year, so it feels to soon for us, too.

we're barely at the peak of fall foliage at the moment in the upper corners of the state.

4. pretty much everything is still green here

but it's all part of living in colorado, so i'm used to it
