2. Nope, not even close.
And with all the problems in this world I suspect I never will be.

The Bruins winning a Stanley Cup would at least take some of the sting out though. :)

5. Yes....
I'm worried less about my family (grown children) than I have been.
Plus(+) I've found more amazing web sites that have the music I like to listen to.

9. Yes, I am. I may not like everything in my life but
underneath the surface frustrations, I'm happy as can be. In Maslow's heirarchy of needs, I get way up there before things are a problem. I'm sheltered, fed, pretty healthy, I have (mostly) terrific family and friends, the world never ceases to astonish me, I've succeeded in realizing many of my life goals and dreams, and I just plain LOVE standing back and watching the show unfold.

There's some saying I can never remember about the difference between dying with dignity and sliding in sideways, torn and dishevelled, whooping and hollering and saying "What a ride!" I hope I'm in that category.

10. I am more happy now than I have been in a long time..
you just made me realize. I am no longer in pain. I got all my appointments set up to take care of some other health issues I am having. I just need to stay alert and stay on top of it.

Maybe by next spring, I can be whole again.

14. mental states are transitory
it's unreasonable to expect more of one state than another. it's all on a continuum. i'd rather have the ability to more effectively cope than to be happy.

actually, extremes of happiness or sadness are no good.

16. well, she didn't ask if we were "completely" happy
just genuinely.

There are things I wish were different, but on the whole.... happiness is the presiding tone in my life.
