I was down to 89 after a bout with giardia a month ago, and the doctor was starting to yell at me about it.

Finally I'm back to the "range of normal" BMI! I am having a beer or four in celebration.

6. Thank you!! I am trying hard to get strong and healthy!
I just found out that one of my former bosses--who liked me, and who I liked--got hired by my Dream Employer, which has tough physical-fitness requirements. She's in training at their school now, but I am hoping like hell that in four years (when I'm ten years past the last cancer treatment, which that level seems to care about) she will be in a position to hire or recommend me. So I am working hard to get to where I can pass the physical!

5. My dear AlienGirl!
Good for you!

Being too thin is as nearly as dangerous as too heavy...

And giardia...scary shit. Glad that's gone too!

Celebrate!

8. I needed to add that this is not some kind of "OMG I am SO skinny!" boast
I know that skinny has been fashionable since the 1920's, but that is beginning to change anyway.

HEALTHY is attractive,

I am glad because my weight is finally in the range of "healthy."

I will be even more glad (like ECSTATIC) when I know I can physically qualify to be a serious candidate for Quantico...

9. Good on you!
Glad you are putting on a few more pounds. And I can certainly attest to the fact that you are NOT a tall person!

12. 4'11"
and landed my ass at 92lbs at one point in my life.....take care, and remember at 92lbs & 4 beers you'll be pretty damn drunk. I'm 115lbs now, and 4 beers I'd be under the table....or possibly dancing on the bar :)
